The Kethiri have never known Star Fleet or the Federation.

The Kethiri are a proud and noble people, with traditions that extend back for thousands of years. They live a nomadic life, in harmony with nature, and while they understand technology, they choose not to use technology as part of their lives within the tribe.

Their ways are not our ways.

But make no mistake. They are not children. They are smart and capable and fierce in battle.

Do not for a minute believe that their simplistic lifestyle would make them easy prey. The graves of their enemies would tell a different story.

The Alliance have come to Kethir in search of ruins believed to belong to their great and ancient enemy. The Alliance do not see the Kethiri as a threat. The Alliance think that the Kethiri, with their swords and knives, will be no match in battle.

They are wrong. They just don't yet know how wrong. But for that one mistake, they will pay with their lives.
